Follow these steps if you see an E and 3 flashing on the control panel:
- Disconnect all cords from the printer.
- Remove all paper.
- Open the doors and remove any remaining paper.
- Slide the carriage to the right, then the left, removing any obstructions.
- Close the doors and reconnect the cords.
- Use a wall outlet for the power cord.
- Load paper, and try to print again.
- If you are still experiencing issues, contact HP for support options for your printer.
